Odeon Capital I
Odeon Capital Partners
I, founded in 1999, is a limited investment partnership with $115 million
in committed private equity capital under management. Odeon I's investment
focus was on
enterprise software, supply chain software, and business services companies,
and the Principal's continue to actively manage nine
of those investments.
Odeon Capital II
Odeon management
is currently in process of raising fund II. Odeon Capital Partners II,
L.P., is a private equity limited partnership formed with the purpose
of offering vale-added growth capital to established private companies
and select under-followed and under-valued public companies.
Our mission is to
seek investments in established, attractively valued companies poised
for rapid revenue expansion through broadening product or service offerings,
expanding sales and distribution, or acquiring strategic targets.
Our investment focus
is on companies that possess valuable underlying business franchises,
especially histories of paying customers, broad-based acceptance of
their products and services, seasoned management teams, established
operating franchises and recognizable brands.
While the companies
we seek will have achieved inital levels of success, they will be operating
under constarints that hamper their growth. These constraints may include,
for example, lack of adequate capital for expansion and growth, limitations
on managerial or operating resources, excessive financial leverage or
poor capital sturctures, or neglect from parent companies that no longer
deem the enterprise important.
The fund's goal
is to identify these constraints, mitigate them, and fund the opportunity
to unlock its latent value. Thus, the essence of the fund's stratgey
is to take an already "good" company, limited by financial
or operational constraints, and make it a "great" company.
The fund will concentrate
on growth companies in three sectors: enterprise software, outsourced
business services, and rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution
companies with a proprietary or technological edge. The fund also has
an interest in companies operating in the energy, healthcare, financial
services, and media and communications verticals.
