Advisory
Board
The Fund has
assembled an advisory board to assist it in sourcing deals, evaluating
companies, performing due diligence, and providing expert advice
and consulting to its portfolio companies. The advisory board is
comprised of the following individuals:
Bob Daly.
Mr. Daly has
been active in the technology industry for more than 20 years. He
was Vice President of Engineering at Cheyenne Software, where he
was responsible for the entire product creation process from requirements
through code development and technical support. He is currently
President of RD Consulting Services, L.L.C., which addresses the
needs of growing software firms.
Dave Demers.
Mr. Demers
is an industry expert with many years of experience in the supply
chain arena. He is Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer for The
Avicon Group, a supply chain consulting and integration firm, which
is an Odeon Fund I investment. Prior to co-founding The Avicon Group,
he co-founded the Performance Resource Group, a supply chain consulting
practice, where he directed supply chain strategy design and implementation
assignments for many high tech industry leaders. In addition to
his consulting experience, Dave also brings a broad cross-industry
experience base including past positions in government, consumer
products, and the high technology industry.
Tom Escott.
Mr. Escott
has more than 23 years of experience in transportation and logistics
management, marketing, operations and product development. He is
currently CEO of ShipLogix, a transportation management software
and services firm and an Odeon Fund I investment. Before co-founding
ShipLogix, Mr. Escott was President and CEO of Caliber Logistics,
the third largest third-party logistics provider in the world, prior
to its acquisition by FedEx, where he also served as Vice President
of Sales and Marketing and Research and Development.
Wayne Lam.
Mr. Lam is an
experienced executive in the storage management software field.
He is currently Vice President and Co-Founder of FalconStor, an
Odeon Fund I company that develops leading storage network infrastructure
solutions. He also serves in leadership positions with storage management
industry groups, as Vice Chairman and Public Relations Coordinator
for SNIA IPS Forum iSCSI Group and as Co-Chair of SNIA IPS Technical
Workgroup iSCSI Group. Prior to FalconStor, he was Vice President
at Computer Associates International, Inc., holding various roles
in product marketing, and business and product development.
Ellen Lary.
Dr. Lary
is an information technology and storage industry consultant with
many years of management experience. She became Vice President and
General Manager of Digital Equipment Corporation's Storage Product
Division in 1996, and subsequently grew the business from $1.2 billion
to $1.9 billion in revenues over a 20-month period. After the Compaq
Computer Corporation's acquisition of Digital, she was appointed
Vice President of Business Critical Storage for Compaq. She left
Compaq in 1999 and in 2000, she formed Tutelary, LLC, a business
development consulting company.
Richard Lary. Mr.
Lary is a storage and technology industry consultant with many years
of domain experience. He was Digital Equipment Corporation's Storage
Architect, its Storage Technical Director, and after the Compaq
Computer Corporation's acquisition of Digital, Compaq 's Storage
Technical Director. He holds 25 patents for his work in processor
and storage system architecture and design, and was awarded a Lifetime
Achievement Award at the Server I/O Conference in January 2000.
Greg Selker.
Mr. Selker is
a Managing Director at Christian & Timbers, a leading retained-search
executive recruiting firm focusing on CEO and senior executive level
searches. He concentrates on information technology and private
equity-backed companies. Mr. Selker has been a consulting partner
to Odeon Fund I and has been instrumental in recruiting many senior
level executives to Odeon Fund I portfolio companies.
